Standard Equipment

All our yachts have on board:

  • Navigation Equipment.
  • Charts for the area.
  • Chart protractor and Dividers.
  • GPS.
  • Depth, speed and wind instruments.
  • Full safety equipment to WA Government commercial survey requirements.

The Area

Geographe Bay is a north facing bay protected from prevailing winds. Northerly winds do occur in winter but the spring/ summer and autumn patterns are predominantly easterly and south westerly winds. We have three moorings in popular areas (Busselton Jetty, Quindalup and Dunsborough) and marina facilities at Bunbury and Busselton.

Navigation is line of sight but for those who want to try their hand at fixing there are plenty of objects you can use.

There are few navigational dangers. These are largely restricted to sandy shoals close to the shore and are marked on the charts. The Bay is very safe and has full coverage on VHF radio.

Local supermarkets make it very easy to do your own shopping for your holiday.

On board you will find quality galley ware and fittings, games, CD player. “Kaisen” our luxury two cabin Jeanneau also has a television as well as extra large double cabins.

The Yachts

Our Jeanneau yachts are a great cruising boat, fast when you want them to be yet having a level of fit out you would expect to find on only the best of cruising yachts. All sail controls come back to the cockpit with full single line reefing on the mains and roller furlong genoas.

The yachts have 40hp auxiliary diesels, BBQs and dodgers. “Kaisen” has a full bimini that is great for cool afternoons on the moorings. All are VHF equipped.

“Kaisen” is a two-cabin yacht suitable for one or two couples while “Sensei” is a three cabin yacht ideal for a family or three couples. Each has private toilet and bathroom, full galley and all the features you would expect on a modern luxury yacht.

The yachts can be easily sailed by a couple and professional help is never far away.
