Formed behind Cape Naturaliste, its north facing coast line means we are protected from prevailing southerly wind and the south westerly wind. The miles of beaches means you can really get away from it all. One of the great things about the bay is its sense of peace. Anchorages are quiet and often there may only be one or two other yachts. The coral at Busselton Jetty is well worth a visit together with some great bays, resorts and crystal clear water. We placed have placed moorings at the best spots for your exclusive use and peace of mind - no worrying about overnight anchors Busselton
Geographe Bay is named after the French explorer Baudin whose ship 'The Geographe' first explored the area in 1801. Many of the local place names go back to Baudin. The area is largely unchanged from how Baudin would have found it. Quindalup is a protect beach just east of Dunsborough and provides the gate wat to the superb bays of Cape Naturaliste. Its crystal clear water makes it a real surprise. Or you can sail 30 miles north to the protected anchorage of Koombana Bay at Bunbury. A port city of 80,000 people Bunbury is full of street cafes, theater and the cinema together with a host of night spots Come and visit us and sail to great spots like Quindalup, Dunsborough, Eagle Bay, Bunker Bay, Busselton and the regional city of Bunbury.
