Mile Builder Sailing Programs

The aim of adventure sailing iis to give you a realistic experience of cruising for extended periods and to have fun. You will sleep on board and share in watch keeping, navigation and helming learning how to keep a cruising yacht fully functional while on passage.

You will build your confidence in offshore sailing and have a chance to really practice your skills in a supported training envirionment. We have excellent Musto Coastal wet weather gear available to keep you warm and dry during your watches and quality fast yachts to eat up passage miles.

Mile builders are on board our board our brand new Beneteau Oceanis 46. This is a luxury cruising yacht with twin wheels, very large cockpit and luxury fit out throughout.

Dates of Passages

For all passages you will be involved in a pre passage breifing and over view of the yacht prior to departure. These passages are suited to people who have acheived at lease competent crew or who have reasonable sailing experience

November 2010. Bunbury to Shark Bay and return-650nm
This is a return passage taken at a leisurely pace to introduce you to cruising. Stop over in Mandurah, Fremantle and Geraldton and will take approximatly three weeks. $5000pp or couples sharing cabins $4000pp

December 12 to 14 Bunbury to Rottnest and return - 200 Nms
This is a passage to Rottnest Island returning via Mandurah.You will experience some night sailing and have the opportunity to do watchkeeping. You will sail on our ocean racing yacht Sunfast 37 complete with Spinnaker: includes all meals on board $1250pp

October2 -3 Bunbury - Busselton and Quindalup and return - 100nm
Cruise down to Busselton and then overnight at our mooring at peaceful Quindalup. An excellent introduction to the cruising lifestyle.
$1250 pp

All Passages include meals on board while sailing.
Wet weather gear is available for hire.
Participants should have some sailing experience.
Miles can be logged towards your Yachtmaster and may include some components of certifcated course requirements
