RYA Day Skipper Fasttrack Course: 2 weeks

First we enrol you in the Day Skipper online theory course. You can complete this at home at your own pace. A yachtmaster instructor is available to assist you but you will have all the resources you need to successfuly complete the theory certificate. If you choose to you can complete the theory at our base but you will need to allow an additional $500 for food and accommodation

Next you join us on board to do your RYA / YA competent crew. We also use the time to complete any revision of your Day Skipper theory certificate.

In the second week you will complete day skipper practical. This five day block includes lots of opportunity for practical navigation and pilotage and we really work up your berthing skills under power so that you look really professional as a yacht handler. This is a great course for those planning extended cruises along the coast.

  • Week 2 - RYA Day Skipper Practical.

The course is designed to enable you to be a safe and confident skipper of yachts on coastal passages by day in familiar waters. You will be confident and instill confidence in your crew as a skipper when you complete this course. Includes all accommodation and meals when on board the five day practical courses. You will complete 200 sea miles during the course and spend ten days on board.
